Four generations in the same trees
The company started with one man and a truck in Paso Robles. The fourth generation runs it now, out of the same town, on properties some of which we have been maintaining since the sixties.
A tree company either builds a reputation slowly or it disappears quickly. Ours took sixty-seven years, and it is the reason we still answer the phone with a name rather than a call centre.
How we work
Everything is in-house. The arborists who write the reports are on payroll. The climbers, the crane operator and the masticator operators are our employees, and the machines on your property are ours — maintained in our own yard, not rented that morning from whoever had one available.
That structure costs more to carry and it is the whole point. It means the person who quotes the job is accountable for how it goes, and it means we can say no to work that should not be done — a removal that a reduction cut would solve, or a clearing job that would put a slope at risk.
Where we work
Tree services, land clearing, mastication and fuel reduction are available throughout San Luis Obispo, Monterey and Santa Barbara counties. If a job sits outside that footprint we will tell you straight rather than driving three hours and charging you for it.
